How do I create maps for Real Estate Exposés?

Modified on Thu, 10 Oct at 5:44 PM

Maps for Real Estate make up a significant portion of our map purchases. Thus, the Printmaps editor offers several handy tools to enable the creation of aesthetic maps to display how real estate properties are situated.

1. Choose and personalize your map design:

Under "Design" you can personalize your map design as much as you like. For more details on how to do so, please consult this article.

2. Add the location of the property:

Head to "Content" > "Add POIs" and drag the marker to the location of the property, or use our "Multiple POIs (Spreadsheet)" tool to enter the address of the property, and personalize the color and shape of the marker. If you want a subtle, minimalistic design, the job is done, as you can see in the example below.

3. Add more details to the surrounding area:

Head to "Add POIs" > "POIs from our database" and add relevant places of interest in the area to the map by clicking on them. Your potential customers may be interested in schools, doctor's offices, pharmacies, parks, bus stops or grocery stores in the vicinity of the property. The end result could look something like this:

4. Fully personalize in Photoshop or Illustrator:

If you want to personalize the map to an extent that exceeds our editor's capabilities, do not fret. Purchasing our Maps in the PSD or SVG format will give you each map element, including the layers the maps consist of, as a seperate, customizable layer that you can edit as much as you wish.

If you are convinced by the capabilities of our map editor and would like to use them to advertise properties regularly, consider contacting us regarding our subscription models.
